We are so excited you are interested in Children's and Youth Ministry at Diamond Lake Lutheran! Below is some information about the ministries we offer and our registration form.

Kids Club and Youth Group meet each Wednesday during the program year with the exception of Minneapolis Public Schools breaks. Our firs Wednesday of the 2026-2027 program year will be September 16.

Confirmation class will meet from 5-8 pm on the following Sunday evenings: September 20, October 11, November 15, and December 13.

At Diamond Lake Lutheran, we give kids aged 3-3rd grade the Celebrate Wonder Storybook Bible, 4th-6th graders receive the Deep Blue Kids Bible, and 7th-12th graders get The CEB Student Bible as a gift from the church. I give permission for my child to participate in Diamond Lake Lutheran Church activities and programming. I hereby authorize my child to participate in these activities and hereby release and waive any claim, demand, cause of action or assertion of liability against Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, its pastors or staff members, which may result from any accident or happening occurring during or as a result of such activity. Further, if any emergency medical or surgical administration is needed by my child during or resulting from said activities, I authorize any of its pastors or staff members of Diamond Lake Lutheran to authorize any licensed physician or surgeon to administer any such emergency medical or surgical attention. I further waive any claim, demand or cause of action of liability against Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, its pastors or staff members, because of such emergency medical or surgical administration. I also understand Diamond Lake Lutheran's NO TOLERANCE policy. There will be no cigarettes (regardless of age), alcohol, illegal drugs, the disrespecting of another person, unauthorized time away from the group or inappropriate sexual or physical activity allowed on the premises or during events. If at any time a person is caught breaking this policy, they are subject to being sent home at the expense of the parent/guardian of this youth.

I hereby grant Diamond Lake Lutheran Church permission to use my child’s likeness in photographs, video recordings or electronic images in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of the organization and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the organization to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute these images for purposes of publicizing the organization's programs or for any other lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my child's likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my child’s image.
